1. Overview

Sukuun.AI is an account-based wellness app. Depending on the feature you use, the app may process account data, wellness and progress data, device-local state, reminder preferences, notification tokens, analytics events, and diagnostics.

Sukuun.AI is intended to support self-awareness, guided reflection, progress tracking, and habit-building. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic services.

2. Account and profile data

When you create or use a Sukuun.AI account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and password so you can sign in. Sukuun.AI also stores profile data such as your first name, preferred language, onboarding state, and legal-notice acceptance metadata.

3. Wellness and progress data

Sukuun.AI may store and sync wellness and progress data connected to your account, including self-check history, guided exercise progress, growth-flow results, brain color progress, journey progress, and related feature state needed to restore your experience across sessions.

4. Device-local storage

Sukuun.AI also stores some state locally on your device for performance, continuity, and offline resilience. This may include settings, drafts, cached history, local progress state, and device-specific reminder state. Some features, such as audio recordings created in the voice-note flow, are stored on-device only unless Sukuun.AI explicitly introduces a sync feature for them in a future release.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders or push notifications, Sukuun.AI may process notification preferences, reminder times, and push-device tokens to deliver reminders and progress-related notifications. Notification content is designed to avoid including sensitive reflection details.

6. Analytics and diagnostics

Sukuun.AI currently uses Firebase Analytics for product usage analytics and Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics. These services may receive identifiers, event metadata, device/app context, and error information needed to measure usage and keep the app functioning reliably.

7. How data is stored and shared

Sukuun.AI currently relies on Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Analytics, to operate core app features. Sentry is used for diagnostics. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling unrelated to operating and improving Sukuun.AI, and we do not sell your personal information.

8. Wellness use and professional advice

Content, scores, prompts, and exercises are for general information and self-reflection only. They are not professional advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or crisis support.

• Sukuun.AI does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any condition.
• Sukuun.AI does not provide clinical assessments or determine risk, severity, or suitability of any treatment.
• If any content or exercise increases distress, discontinue use and seek professional support.

9. Emergencies and your responsibility

Sukuun.AI is not an emergency service and cannot contact emergency responders. If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a crisis, or considering self-harm, stop using the app and seek urgent help immediately by contacting your local emergency number or a local crisis hotline.

You are responsible for how you use the app and for any actions you take based on your reflections, scores, or progress history. Use Sukuun.AI in a way that is safe for you and do not rely on it for decision-making where professional judgment is required.

10. Age eligibility

Sukuun.AI is intended for adults. You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Sukuun.AI unless a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized adult is involved and local law permits your use.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sukuun.AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Sukuun.AI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in this notice limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Retention and deletion

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, secure the service, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, and maintain records of consent where required.

At the time of this notice, Sukuun.AI does not yet provide a self-service in-app account deletion flow. If you have a privacy or deletion request, contact info@sukuun.ai.

13. Future changes, consent, and updates

Sukuun.AI is intended to evolve. If a future update introduces optional features that involve new sensitive-data uses, new third-party sharing, or syncing of categories that are currently device-local, Sukuun.AI will present clear additional disclosures and request separate consent before those optional features are activated where required.

We may update this notice from time to time. The last-updated date will change when we do. Continued use of Sukuun.AI after an update means you accept the updated notice to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Website forms

If you also use Sukuun.AI website forms such as the waitlist or contact form, those submissions are processed through Firebase services and may be sent to the Sukuun.AI team by email so we can respond to your request.
